About Textify.tools
Hi, we're the small team behind Textify.tools. We work from a tiny office (with a lot of coffee) because we genuinely love building things that make everyday computer tasks a little less annoying. No big corporate offices, no investors — just a few developers and designers who got tired of bloated online tools and decided to do something about it.
Why we built this
Like many people, we spent years jumping between different websites every time we needed to count words, change case, or format JSON. And every single site made us frustrated. They were slow. They were covered in intrusive ads. They asked for sign‑ups, or worse, they wanted money for basic features.
One evening, we needed to convert a block of text to CSV for a quick report. The popular tool we tried immediately threw up a popup, then a captcha, and then a premium plan offer. We closed the tab and thought, "Let's just build our own."
That first little CSV converter worked so well that we built another tool. Then another. Before we knew it, we had dozens of text helpers running entirely in the browser — no server, no database, no tracking. We realized this could actually help other people too, so Textify.tools was born.
What makes this site different
We didn't want to build just another "tool website." We wanted to build something we'd enjoy using ourselves. That meant sticking to a few core rules:
- No signups, ever. You shouldn't need an account to count words or format JSON. Just open the page and go.
- Your text stays on your device. Every single tool runs locally in your browser. We don't have a server that processes your data, and we can't see what you type.
- Actually fast. Because we skip the server round‑trip, results appear instantly. No loading spinners, no waiting.
- Clean, simple design. No clutter, no dark patterns, no trickery. Just the tool you need and a couple of non‑intrusive ads to keep the lights on.
We've also tried to make the site work beautifully on phones and tablets. Our small office includes a stubborn tester who refuses to use anything that isn't perfectly touch‑friendly, so every page adapts to whatever screen you're using.
How we keep it free
Textify.tools is completely free, and we intend to keep it that way. We run a few small, Google‑delivered ads that appear on the pages. They're placed in spots that don't interfere with the tools, and they help cover hosting costs and the endless supply of coffee that fuels our little office. There's no "premium" plan hidden anywhere — every tool has all its features right from the start.
What's next
We're constantly adding new tools based on what people actually need. If you have an idea for a text utility that you'd like to see here, please drop us a message. We can't promise we'll build everything, but we read every suggestion and often end up implementing the most requested ones.
We're also working on making the tools even faster and improving accessibility. This is a long‑term project — we built it because we love making things people actually use, and we plan to keep improving it for years.
